I would consider Doug Davis if the Yankees found a void existing in either the starting rotation or long relief during/after spring training.  I can't see many of the other guys on that list taking a big role in the loaded AL East. I might cry if Kip Wells or Odalis Perez walked to the mound for the Yanks against either the Red Sox or Rays. Another potential option not listed here is Noah Lowry, despite his recent injury history he would be worth a million dollar gamble considering how he performed at such a young age.
